Presents the 2010 Tornado R’Alley

This years rally is to be held on Memorial day weekend.
This rally will benefit Harvesters!*
It will run from Fri, May 28th -Sun, May 30th
You can take Memorial day to rest or travel home.
Welcome to Tornado R’Alley VI, Fast Times at Mad Toto High! We are looking forward to having you join us for what we are working hard to make for a fantastic weekend. As usual, we are working hard, and with our sponsors, to provide you with not only a good time but the best value for your hard earned dollar. So please check the schedule to not only see what we have going on for the weekend but what we’ve included.
This year is based on a high school theme. So every ride has a school style twist, while our Saturday night party is in the style of a prom. Even our patches this year will be reflecting this theme. Here’s the schedule thus far, and of course always subject to change:
Friday:
4pm – Registration begins. (got some spare parts to sell? we don’t have a formal set up for a swap meet, but this would be a great time to bring your extra parts).
6pm – Meet and Greet dinner, included with your registration fee.
8pm -Stay out late on a school night with in town night rides (open to all displacements and riding levels) exploring the areas surrounding Kansas City.
8:15 – the infamous Back Alley ride to follow after the departure of the in town rides. This ride is recommended for experienced riders, as we go off the beaten path and explore the hidden alley ways of downtown Kansas City and the adjacent West Bottoms. Conditions on this ride are of an “off road” type as we encounter brick roads, rough pavement, rail road track, gravel and other various unpredictable conditions. While this ride is always a blast, we must remind you that we are NOT liable for any damages that may happen to you or your scoot. Ride at your own risk! More details will be covered prior to this rides departure.
Saturday:
9:30 – Those wishing to in the scooter judging meet at Scooter World.
10:00 – Chris Cakes pancake breakfast (included with your registration fee).
10:30 – Scooter Judging to begin
11:00 – JR Varsity Gymkhana
12:00 -Varsity Gymkhana
1:00 – Leave for Field Trips (see additional info on the registration page) and lunch at Chipotle (included) as soon as Gymkhana is over.
4:00 – 5:00 – Break time starts until we meet back up for the prom. Depending on which class ride you take, we figure you can plan to start the break time somewhere between 4-5. Dinner is on your own dime, but we are working on trying to secure some discounts.
8:00 – “All Decades” Prom with music, snacks, and drinks (included). Good times! Prom attire from any decade is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED but not technically required. Scooter awards to be given out at prom.
Midnight – Prom ends. See you in the morning
Sunday:
Pre-noon – sleep in, check out and take your time packing up.
12:00 – Lunch (included)
12:30 – Raffle begins while we eat (we are already getting some excellent prizes. In particular, one very awesome prize!). Tickets can be purchased in advance or at various times through out the rally, including Sunday’s breakfast. Buy 20, get 5 free.

*A portion of each registration fee will go towards Harvester’s Community Food Network, a food bank that services the Greater Kansas City Area. Each year Harvesters serves many of those in need and the Mad Toto Scooter Club is happy to be part of their efforts. While a portion of your fee is going towards this cause, we are also encouraging participants to feel free to bring canned goods or additional financial contributions to the rally, and we’ll make sure it all gets to Harvesters. Not only are we donating a portion of the rally’s proceeds, but support Harvesters annually through our food drive/ ride “Will Scoot 4 Food”. Please visit http://www.harvesters.org for additional information. Thank you, MTSC.
